I’ve been oil painting solely to improve my skills. There hasn't been a deeper meaning or personal connection to many of my paintings in the past year. It was good for me to get lots of paintings out quickly, but I’m starting to consider the value in using my art to examine some of the topics I have flying around in my mind constantly.
