Day one in Dali has probably confused me 1,287 times already 😂 Since arriving, I've been wandering around alone in a daze, until I met this Chinese guy at the hostel. He invited me to travel to the next city with his uncle, introduced me to friends staying at another hostel, took me to eat poisonous mushroom hotpot (this was truly shocking!), and I was amazed by how well he took care of me. Even though we'd never met before, above all, I'm incredibly grateful for his kindness and generosity.
