Learning about Banyumas history is inseparable from the figure of Mbah Kalibening. In Dawuhan Village, Banyumas, there is an ancient and historic tomb complex, one of which is the tomb of Mbah Kalibening. This tomb complex also contains an ancient well with abundant and crystal-clear water. This well is more accurately called an umbul (sumbul) because the water continuously flows, overflowing over the walls. The Banyumas people call it the "pasucen well" (well) because the water from this well is commonly used to wash the heirlooms in the Kalibening Museum. The Kalibening Museum opens once a year during Maulud (Eid al-Fitr). The Mbah Kalibening Tomb Complex is located 5 km from the Banyumas town square, heading west.
