A subwoofer amplifier is a specialized power amplifier designed to supply the high power levels and specific frequencies required to drive a subwoofer. Unlike standard amplifiers, it features built-in tools like a low-pass crossover (to block high-pitched sounds) and a subsonic filter (to protect the speaker from ultra-low frequencies). This subwoofer amplifier operates on a 15V to 25V (ct) voltage from the transformer.
