Other YouTubers and viewers have told me that Tokai On Air's thumbnails are terrible. Maybe it's because they don't have the moment during filming to think, "Let's take a thumbnail!", but instead look for something good after editing. Or maybe it's because Tokai On Air's editors have no aesthetic sense. Well, flaws are like personality, so I don't think about them too seriously, but if I could make a pretty thumbnail, I would. The moment I lose the desire to take the next step, I'm already an old man. So about a year ago, I started making thumbnails using software called "Photoshop." Those who know it will know, but it's a very powerful piece of software for editing images. I don't make full use of its functions when making thumbnails for Tokai On Air, but I still find it quite useful, as there are many times when I think, "Wow, this is convenient." So, since we've come this far, I thought it would be great if everyone could learn Photoshop, and I've been recommending it to Tetsuya and Toshimitsu, but for some reason they don't seem to like it very much. Macs have a feature called "Preview." It's the "Preview" of "View," so it's just a function that allows you to easily check an image, but it also allows for some bonus image editing. Tetsuya, a Preview devotee, says that when he makes a background transparent, he draws it freehand and erases it little by little. "That's definitely sloppy! Let me see!" he said, and he showed me his work, and it was absolutely beautiful. The transparency was far more beautiful than my own Photoshop, which I'm not very good at. It was frustrating. If you're curious, compare my thumbnails and Shibayu's with Tetsuya and Toshimitsu's thumbnails. You're sure to see subtle differences.
