Bases de Données Relationnelles - Schéma Entité/Association (1/3) - Notion de l'Entité

Hello and welcome to the first part of the "Relational Databases" course, which will cover the Entity-Relationship Schema (also called "Entity-Relationship Schema" or "Conceptual Model"). The Entity-Relationship Schema corresponds to the conceptual model we covered in the first part of the DBMS course. This schema allows us to move from the real world (and the needs expressed) to the computer world, and it is the schema we use to create a relational database. Properly creating and designing this schema ensures that the final relational database will be well-designed and well-created. In this video, we will explain the concept of an Entity and related terms. The concept of an Association will be covered in the next video.
