Is it worth having 1, 2, 3, or 4 rabbits? I'll answer that question in today's episode. Each number has its pros and cons; no one is ideal :) It's definitely worth having at least two, because rabbits are social animals and require the company of their own species to be truly happy. A human, cat, or dog can't replace a rabbit's best friend. One rabbit will be lonely, but the upkeep will be lower than with 2, 3, or 4 rabbits. Two bunnies will be happier, but that means more expenses and more mess. The same goes for 3 and 4 rabbits. This also requires a relatively large area for a kennel or a room for the rabbits to be cage-free. Furthermore, this involves higher costs for food and veterinary services. Any number of pets should be carefully considered and adapted to your needs, not only financially but also physically. If you can't provide rabbits with enough space, don't force yourself to take in more and more. Everything should be done in moderation :) Hoarding is not good...
