R211 (Q) Ride via Broadway Express - Rerouted (B) to 96 St/2 Av - Tuesday Nov 25, 2025

A ride on a rerouted R211 B train signed up as Q to 96/2 from the Manhattan Bridge to 34 St-Herald Sq. This train was rerouted via Broadway to 96/2 due to a switch problem at 145 St that caused delays up 6 Avenue and CPW and therefore to ease congestion this train was rerouted. The train was reprogrammed as Q to ease passenger confusion as the route and destination of this B train followed the same route as the Q. This marks the first known time an R211 consist has ran in passenger service along Broadway Express signed as Q, although it was still technically a B. The train changed signage as a B to 96/2 shortly after this video at Times Square. Taken on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
