Main Street Ann Arbor Evolution through Postcards

Wystan Stevens, renowned local historian, through his research and collection of photos, traces the evolution of Main Street, Ann Arbor, in the early 20th century. Did you know AA had its own trolly system? Or, of the story of a run-away railroad car that sped down Jackson Avenue-Huron Street from the Fair Grounds (Vets Park) and missed the turn downtown and crashed into the Farmer's and Mechanics Bank, nearly destroying the landmark.
