प्रखंड के मेनहा गांव में डिग्री कॉलेज की स्थापना की मांग को लेकर जारी धरने के दौरान बुधवार को उस समय हाईवोल्टेज ड्रामा शुरू हो गया, जब पूर्व मुखिया संजीव राय एवं अधिवक्ता अमरेन्द्र यादव खादीपुर स्थित एक मोबाइल टावर पर चढ़ गए।दोनों ने घोषणा की कि जब तक मेनहा में डिग्री कॉलेज की स्थापना की दिशा में ठोस पहल का आश्वासन नहीं मिलेगा, तब तक वे टावर से नीचे नहीं उतरेंगे। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही प्रशासनिक महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया और बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण मौके पर जुट गए। High-voltage drama erupted on Wednesday during a protest demanding the establishment of a degree college in Mainha village of the block, when former headman Sanjeev Rai and advocate Amarendra Yadav climbed a mobile tower in Khadipur.
