Sometimes I realize that I've passed the halfway point of my life, but a solo trip is the perfect time to think about the future and live at a relaxed pace. Highlights of this journey: A Heartwarming Mission: Stopping by a beautiful roadside station in Nara to donate dog food to a rescue dog shelter. This is actually where my sweet dog, Uzume, came from! Movie Star Cooking & Beauty: Cooking some comforting junk food late at night (even though the noodles stayed a bit crunchy!) and trying a special sheet mask before bed. By the next morning, I was hoping to become Sachi Hepburn! lol A Perfect Morning: I could see a mystical morning mist. I enjoyed a delicious, traditional tea-porridge breakfast while listening to the nostalgic Japanese radio exercises music. Rainy Season Flowers: Heading to my final destination to admire the beautiful, quiet scenery and lovely flowers that only bloom during Japan's rainy season.
