Pentair Mastertemp 400 control board fix

My Pentair Mastertemp pool heater would not turn on. This video explains what the problem was and how I fixed it.  After eliminating other potential causes like the power supply and fuses, I determined the issue was the control board.  Then came the decision of how much money to spend on a replacement control board.  This video does not include a step-by-step process of how to replace the control board. But it’s pretty intuitive if you’ve ever worked on your pool heater before. The job can be done in about 20 minutes if you get the covers on and off quickly.
