Tech Repair: Original Xbox - Overheating, Clock Cap Removal, DVD Drive Refurb
In this episode of Tech Repair, I have acquired a v1.0 original Xbox that has some problems that need to be fixed. The problems include: overheating; needs new thermal paste the clock capacitor needs to be removed the DVD drive needs to be cleaned and greased the PSU needs to have its power plug solder joints reinforced the case and the fans are very dirty I'm giving this Xbox away to a co-worker who has an autistic daughter. The family already likes playing classic games and with CoinOPs on this Xbox, they will enjoy it even more.
