LV two riders coming towards camera along a rutted path round a hill No 295 G Collins from Britain overtakes No 86 the Dutchman F Broersma. LV crowd at the Lunchstop. LV pan as No 239 E Cruse a Russian comes into the time check. CU pan at the Russian walks away pushing his bike. LV pan as No 222 Miss J Savage from Britain comes into the time check. CU her card being stamped. CU pan she goes away from camera. GV Bikes parked at lunchstop. SV pan as No 298 Ken Heanes one of the remaining four members of the British trophy team gets away after the lunch stop. (He retired on Thursday with gear box trouble leaving just three of the team). CU signpost reading Llanidloes three miles pan to other side of signpost reading "Staylittle 5 Miles" LV two riders coming towards camera riding over a lot of loose shale the leader is Bud Ekins from the USA he skids as he turns a bend but straightens up all right he is followed closely by No 291 as Jones from Britain who also spins on the rough surface but straightens up and carries on. SV Pan No 295 G Collins from Britain as he comes over the bad surface and goes past camera. GV pan the riders going along the path high above the camera pan down to show a rider No 86 F Broersma a Dutchman repairing his bike after coming off the track and falling down the hill. CU Broersma. LV pan rider No 113 DR Feltham from Ireland as he goes along the path. LV as rider No 125 DVR. CJ Cullem from Britain as he goes over the edge of the drop but falls over before he gets too far down but he gets up unhurt. LV pan as another ride No 138 N Tagli from Italy comes along the slippery road. SV crowd watching. LV pan as a rider comes along the road and back to the starting point.
