Exit Through the Woods - a watercolor journey through the darkness

A journey through the dark woods can fill you with dread and desire to run towards the light, but instead pause and let your eyes get used to the night and see that the black is actually made of hundreds and thousands of shades of dark. Do not run, walk. Listen to the woods, learn to understand your own darkness. Exit the woods wiser, calmer and a little more complete. My recent watercolor that helped me direct my own darker times onto paper, face the shadowy woods of my own, and leave them with a modest bundle of night flowers.
