Green Heritage Webinar #3 | Heritage, Sustainability and Innovative Learning Approaches

The third webinar of the Green Heritage Community of Practice was held on the 28th of May 2026 and was focused on the presentation of the Green Heritage Pedagogical Framework and the online repository of educational materials. The session explored innovative approaches to integrating sustainability, environmental awareness, and cultural and natural heritage into education, highlighting how participatory learning methods can foster green, digital, and social competences among younger generations. Through the contributions of Jelena Anđelković Grašar, Zrinka Mileusnić and Irena Lazar, the webinar introduced the pedagogical framework developed within the project and presented the online repository, a platform gathering educational resources, tools, good practices, workshops, and training materials designed to support educators, cultural practitioners and young people. The discussion highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning, hands-on experiences, digital tools, and heritage-based education in promoting sustainability and active citizenship. Participants also discovered how the repository serves as a valuable resource for sharing knowledge and supporting educational initiatives connected to cultural heritage and environmental responsibility. #GreenHeritage #CulturalHeritage #Sustainability #Education #EnvironmentalAwareness #ActiveCitizenship #DigitalLearning #YouthEngagement #CommunityOfPractice #Webinar #GreenTransition
