2004 Galway International Rally
0.7 of a second was all that separated Tapio Laukkanen and Eugene Donnelly after two full days of competition on the backroads of Co. Galway in February 2004 with the Finnish driver taking a maiden win in the West. Early leader Derek McGarrity saw his challenge halted after picking up a puncture while Austin McHale debuted a 2003 specification Ford Focus WRC.
