You can really lose yourself in Japanese vintage shops 😭✨ Interestingly, Japan has a reputation as one of the most reliable vintage luxury markets in the world! The country has very strict regulations regarding the sale of fakes, and shops risk hefty fines, which allows for safe shopping and a counterfeit-free market. Then there's the Japanese mentality. There's tremendous respect for customers and honesty. This country simply functions differently, and their kindness is impossible to describe until you experience it yourself 🥹❤️ You feel like you're on another planet, where everyone is polite and incredibly helpful. Last year, I left my Chanel purchases at a nightclub. Is that a problem? Absolutely! The purchases were waiting with a table marked and a copy of the food receipt to make it easier to find the owner. Theft or misappropriation of someone's property is not uncommon there. As for my recommendations, the weekend flea market in Tokyo really surprised me! And of course, 2nd Street, which is everywhere.
