Song Vairochana Rinpoche - Nhạc Về Hoàng Tôn Vairochana Rinpoche

Prince Vairochana Rinpoche (full name: Vairochana Rinpoche Ngawang Jigme Jigten Wangchuc, born June 23, 2013) is a special figure possessing both the noble royal status and the supreme spiritual symbol of Buddhism in the Kingdom of Bhutan. He is recognized by the great masters of the Vajrayana tradition as a "living Buddha reincarnated" (Tulku). Royal and Religious Background Royal Origins He is the youngest son of Princess Sonam Dechen Wangchuck of Bhutan and the grandson of Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. Past Incarnations He is confirmed to be the reincarnation of the great translator Lotsawa Vairochana. He was one of Guru Rinpoche's 25 most outstanding disciples and one of the first seven Tibetan Buddhist monks in the 8th century. Identifying his meditation site During a pilgrimage with the Royal Family, he was moved to tears upon recognizing his old meditation cave and confirmed that he was Vairochana. Describing history He could recount in detail the process of translating scriptures, meditating, and ancient historical sites with astonishing accuracy, according to scholarly comparisons. Buddhist exchange activities in Vietnam In early April 2026, His Royal Highness Vairochana Rinpoche and his delegation made a meaningful visit to Vietnam to promote cultural and Buddhist exchange. Meeting with the Sangha He visited and interacted with the Venerable Monks of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at Quan Su Pagoda (Hanoi) and also met with representatives of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religion. Prayer for peace and well-being He presided over lectures and prayer services. Prayers for national peace and prosperity were offered at Hung Phuc Pagoda (Bac Ninh) and Van Son Monastery (Phu Tho). Oral Transmission of the True Mantra At these temples, His Holiness compassionately guided monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to recite the orally transmitted true mantras of Guru Padmasambhava and the Six Perfections Buddha Mother (Tara) to bestow blessings.
