Update: I Used Cardi B’s Mask For The 1st Time && This Happened 😱 Appreciation post. This time last year my oldest baby was going to the hardest time in her life and would embark on a journey that neither of us could have ever imagined. I remember being so hurt on the inside but could never show her that. I did EVERYTHING in my power to keep her spirits up, to remind her that she’s sooo beautiful and I made sure that she didn’t miss out on any cute hairstyles. I worked around it as if God himself gave me detailed direction. I had no idea what I was doing and we both learned along the way I got consent from the very beginning.... I asked her “Do you want to share your story with others” and without hesitation, she said, “Yes!. She spoke about how happy she was to help others, said that “it’s just hair & it’ll grow back” and as hard as it may have been for her (she never complained) she sat in front of that camera, with millions watching and shared ever part of what HAS TO BE the worst part of her life. Like a boss. So sweet and calm the entire time. She has changed my life and encouraged me on levels she’ll never understand. Literally have no idea if I would be able to handle it so graciously.
