Songwriter: Lana del Ray History : Hope was the only daughter of a powerful god for years after her sister Talia died. She is the daughter of Zeus and as such she knows that there is a prophecy, which promises death and destruction. Hope can't stand Percy, because she sees herself in him and because Zeus accuses him of stealing the Thunderbolt. Luke, Hope's best friend, pushes them to get to know each other, until they are forced to join the Greek enterprise, with Annabeth and Grover. Medusa tells Percy not to trust Hope and he doesn't know whether to believe her since they hate each other. But as they get to know each other better, they understand that they are similar, with two absent fathers who ask a lot.
