The Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center is a national cultural institution in Lusławice in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, whose mission is to develop the musical talents of the most talented young instrumentalists, singers and conductors from around the world through the so-called Master Courses. The European Music Center was established on October 1, 2005 by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Akademia im. Krzysztof Penderecki - International Center of Music, Ballet and Sport. On August 31, 2009, an agreement was signed on the co-management and co-financing of the construction by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Association and the Małopolskie Voivodeship. The project was co-financed by EU funds. The center comprises a concert hall for 650 people, a library, classrooms (such as exercise rooms), instrumental workshops, a chamber hall and a conference room.
