Jack and Vera Duckworth in Southport (19 August 2005)

On their 48th wedding anniversary, Vera has left Jack after being sick of him constantly winding her up and keeping his pigeons in the house. Jack eventually tracks Vera down in Southport. They end up bickering but then reminisce about their dirty weekend the had there 49 years ago. They patch things up and agree they can't live without each other.
