CUPRA RAVAL - Piacere di guida anche in elettrico!

Let's face it, until now we've tended to associate electric cars with concepts like range, efficiency, and so on. At Cupra, however, they decided to buck the trend and develop a small electric car centered around the pure pleasure of driving. A concept that's now almost nostalgic, even anachronistic for some, but with the new Raval, it returns to characterize a compact car that, once behind the wheel, has that '90s hot hatch feel that, let's face it, all of us enthusiasts have missed so much. The new Raval, therefore, is built around the MEB+ platform, which differs from the "traditional" one by positioning the engine on the front axle instead of the rear. At 4.04 meters long and with a wheelbase of 2.60 meters, it boasts compact dimensions, in which the typical Cupra lines find a new interpretation, giving the overall look a very distinctive and sporty style. Great attention has also been paid to aerodynamics, with a sharply tapered front end, recessed handles on the sides, and a prominent rear diffuser. Inside, however, the quality is impressive: the materials, assembly, and finish are worthy of the much larger (and more expensive) Terramar. The seats with built-in headrests are beautiful, perfectly supporting the body when cornering, yet remaining comfortable even on long journeys. The technological content is also impressive, expressed through the presence of a slightly over 10-inch instrument panel with dedicated graphics and an infotainment system now based on Android Automotive, measuring just over 13 inches.
