프로 드러머의 메트로놈 활용법! 불후의 명곡 드럼캠. "박혜원(HYNN) - 꼬마인형" / 드러머 곽준용 Drummer Quak Junyong

요즘 핫하디 핫한 박혜원(HYNN) 양 뒤에서 열심히 연주했어요. 곡 중간쯤 12/8에서 4/4로 박자와 템포가 바뀌는 부분이 있는데 라이브에서, 그것도 영원히 기록으로 남는 방송에서 메트로놈으로 템포를 바꾸며 연주하는 일은 정말이지 너무 살이 떨립니다. 드러머의 메트로놈을 모든 연주자가 인이어로 들으면서 연주를 하는데 혹시라도 템포를 바꿔야 하는 그 찰나에 버튼을 못 누르거나, 아니면 다른 버튼이 눌리거나 (버튼들은 왜 이리도 코딱지만 한지) 아니면 버튼이 따딱 두 번 눌리거나 하는 날에는… 아이고 상상도 하기 싫습니다. 메트로놈 템포를 잘 바꿨다고 해도 예비 클릭 없이 한번에 달라진 템포로 첫 박부터 안정감 있게 연주하는 일도 쉬운 일이 아니구요. 음악 경연 프로의 편곡들은 워낙 변화무쌍한 경우가 많아서 이런 곡을 몇백 곡은 연주했을 텐데도 아직도 할 때마다 긴장이 되네요. 드럼 연주만 본다면 초반부는 다소 지루할 수도 있겠으나 훌륭한 노래와 다른 파트의 연주를 감상하시면서 끝까지 잘 들어 주세요~! In the middle of the song, the beat and tempo changes from 12/8 to 4/4. It’s really crazy to play the tempo with metronome in live, on an ever-recorded broadcasts. You know, the drummer’s metronome is played by all players in-ear, but if I can't press the button at the moment that I have to change the tempo, or another button is pressed, or the buttons are pressed twice...OMG, I don't want to imagine. Even if I've changed the metronome tempo well, it's not easy to play it in a stable way with the tempo without any preliminary clicks. You see, the arrangements in the music contest are so changeable that I still get nervous whenever I play, even though I’ve played hundreds of songs like this. Well, if you’re just watching the drum playing, the beginning may be a bit boring, but please watch it to the end with enjoying the songs and other parts.
