COPPULL BAND early 1990s
This was Coppull Subscription Band, (now known as Coppull and Standish Band) marching through the village of Coppull near Chorley on Remembrance Sunday in the early 1990s. We had no regular drummer so a few of us used to take turns. On this day the honour came to me. The man leading the band was their conductor John Newbiggin. John sadly passed away in 2010 shortly before his 96th birthday.
