Altitude Trampoline Park (Delmar, MD), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, April 2024

Trampoline parks can kind of be a mixed bag. Sometimes, you're lucky if they have a handful of games in them. Other times, the arcade can practically be the secondary focus of the place. That's definitely the case here at Delmar, MD's Altitude Trampoline Park. Although this chain has locations throughout the United States and internationally, the nearest one to me (which, coincidentally, located right near the Woodbridge Center Dave & Buster's) barely has anything in it. Meanwhile, down in Delaware, not only do they have nearly two dozen games, they have some that I've rarely or never seen at other arcades. The obvious standout is the impressive Sniper Strike II (aka Commando Sniper); this large 4 player cabinet takes obvious inspiration from the Silent Scope series of games and has a great variety of missions. Towards the back of the building, there's a Monopoly Roll-N-Go like redemption game called Magic Rabbit that swaps out dice for glowing magic orbs, and has a number of fun little minigames. And it's always fun to see the standalone Beat Saber Arcade in action, especially here where it was a great deal giving you four songs per swipe. Sadly, during this visit, both Magic Rabbit and Beat Saber were down, and according to the manager it doesn't sound like Beat Saber will be back up and running any time soon.
