These make wonderful surprise valentines presents for your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, and some can even be made for mothers, best friends, or even as wedding gifts or favors! Or maybe you want to give your crush a secret message? I use walnut shells to inspire you with lots of unique craft ideas that only take 5 minutes! Super easy, quick, fun and cheap! First I show you how to crack open a walnut with a knife if you don't have a walnut cracker. Then, I show you how to make homemade lavender candles inside the miniature walnut shells! These smell amazing and are great room decor pieces. I love vintage crafts, so the second DIY is inspired by all things vintage! Some old jewelry, doilies, lace, and you have a perfect shabby chic gift with an "I love you" message! Then I move on to making a tiny gift that opens up like a Chinese cracker and reads a secret message of your choice! You can even use a love quote if you like.
