Lise Klaveness, President, Norwegian Football Association, in conversation with Reshmin Chowdhury, sports journalist and broadcaster, at the Women in Football Be Inspired Conference 2025 in partnership with Barclays. Session supported by Barclays. Lise was elected in 2022 as the first female ever in the 120 year history of Norwegian FA to hold the position. Her experience as a former lawyer and judge, a former national team player for Norway, first female TV pundit and the Technical Director for Norway’s men’s and women’s national teams has given her a broad perspective on football's challenges and opportunities. Klaveness is deeply committed to advancing football by emphasising the strong need for transparent and good governance in football, and summarise her work and efforts as football leader in three pillars: the health of our players, the health of the game, the health of society.
