Frequency Response Analysis of a Simple RC Circuit

In basic DC circuits, components behave consistently because the frequency is zero. However, in AC circuits, the behavior of energy storage elements (capacitors and inductors) changes dramatically depending on the operational frequency (𝜔). Capacitors: Act like an open circuit (high impedance) at low frequencies and a short circuit (low impedance) at high frequencies. Inductors: Act like a short circuit (low impedance) at low frequencies and an open circuit (high impedance) at high frequencies.
