A Desert In Japan? Izu Oshima Island, Home of Godzilla! [Ura Sabaku Desert, 裏砂漠, 伊豆大島]

Oshima Island, aka the home of Godzilla! We spent a few days on Oshima island (technically Tokyo!) Tetsu's sister toured us around the island showing all the known and unknown spots. We were very lucky to have a knowledgeable tour guide! Oshima is an ACTIVE volcano. Essentially the entire island is just part of the volcano. It has a forest, desert, cliffs, and much more.
