PB15 448 - QPSR Murder Mystery - 26/01/2019

On Australia Day (Saturday 26th January 2019) the Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway ran its first of its very popular Murder Mystery Dinner Trains for 2019. Several of these trains are run throughout the year using retired "M" class air-conditioned carriages that used to be attached to trains such as The Sunlander, The Inlander, The Westlander and The Spirit of the Outback. Trains typically depart from Swanbank station and travel along the 5km of branch line at a sedate pace while sitting down to a full 3 course dinner and set about solving a murder that has taken place onboard. Before long the train reaches the end of the line at Bundamba Racecourse where the locomotive changes ends and returns to Swanbank station.
