CHEVY SILVERADO MISFIRE INTERMITTENT COMPRESSION

In today's video we take a look at a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a V8 5.3l engine. The customers complaint is that there is a misfire on cylinder number 8. The repair shop replaced spark plugs, wires and even swapped ignition coils and injectors, but the misfire continued on cylinder number 8. Convinced that the engine had a mechanical problem they asked me to take a look. What I found was something very interesting. Cylinder number 8 at times had good compression and at times had low compression.
