This year, Sinterklaas didn't arrive at the familiar Town Hall as usual. No, the holy man apparently misplaced his GPS and ended up somewhere else. Thanks to the BIZ in Gennep, it wasn't a jolly affair at Town Hall this year. No, we were only allowed to indulge in our festivities at 4Events. You'd think Sinterklaas would have better things to do than spot locations in Gennep, but no. Everything had to be perfect with the precision of a Swiss clock. Unfortunately, this time, things didn't go smoothly. And if Sinterklaas can't plan his arrival properly, who can? Of course, Sinterklaas kept us waiting. He was probably consulting with his staff—literally and figuratively—about how to avoid the BIZ bureaucracy and return to the familiar Loswal.
