It might not be a large room, but it's one of the most important places in the house. And if you want a new bathroom, there's a lot more to it than you think. A bathroom specialist works in a showroom and knows everything about designing, selling, and renovating bathrooms. But what are the latest bathroom trends? How do you give good advice to clients? And do you actually need a degree to become a bathroom specialist? In this episode of "When I Grow Up" we delve into the inspiring world of the bathroom specialist. Eleven-year-old Nova is creative and wants to become an interior stylist. Last year, she helped renovate the attic and her bedroom. She carefully considers which colors and materials work well together. Nova draws her inspiration from Google and Pinterest and thinks it's time to tackle the bathroom too. Together with presenter Jochem van Gelder, Nova goes to work at Sanidrõme. Here, they help clients design and build their dream bathroom. This begins in the showroom, where clients gain inspiration and receive personalized advice. A bathroom specialist also contributes to the technical side of things and ensures the entire renovation runs smoothly. Jochem and Nova begin with a visit to a bathroom renovation, where they learn the steps involved in installing a bathroom. Then, in the showroom, they receive an explanation of the sales process and discover the latest bathroom trends. Next, Jochem and Nova compete in a Challenge: they each design their own bathroom. By combining the colors of faucets, furniture, and tiles, they try to design the most beautiful bathroom. Who will create the best combination? Finally, Nova gets to conduct a real sales conversation. She speaks with a client and tries to understand their needs.
