Crossing the Kühtaisattel is a highlight: one of Austria’s highest paved passes, with gradients reaching up to 18% on the western side and 16% on the eastern Sellraintal descent. Situated between the Nedertal and the Sellraintal, the road offers panoramic views and links the valleys via modern road engineering that replaced ancient mule tracks used since the 17th century. At Kühtai, the drive passes right beside an operational ski slope, still open near the end of the ski season. Die Überquerung des Kühtaisattels ist ein zentrales Highlight der Fahrt: einer der höchstgelegenen asphaltierten Straßenpässe Österreichs, mit Steigungen von bis zu 18 % auf der Westseite und 16 % auf der Ostseite. Die Fahrt endet schließlich im Inntal bei Kematen in Tirol.
