It was a lovely evening. Inge Szoltysik-Sparrer and her team from her fashion studio combined a factory tour at DORTEX with a visit to blabla.cafe. We had a pleasant chat: about her training as a bespoke tailor, her community involvement, her role as the national chairwoman of the bespoke tailoring trade, and, of course, her work as a judge on "geschickt eingefädelt" (skillfully threaded), a popular sewing show on VOX. Inge Szoltysik's mother was a hobby seamstress and sewed clothes for her children. The whirring of the sewing machine captivated Inge Szoltysik even before she started school. As a child, she was fascinated by the up-and-down motion of the needle, and before she even started school, she had her first sewing machine...
