These Paintings Are More Disturbing Than They Seem

There are certain paintings that it's impossible to remain indifferent to after seeing them. Today, I bring you three of the most disturbing paintings in the history of art, in my opinion. The first is "The Nightmare" by Henry Fuseli, the second is "Dante and Virgil in Hell" by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, and lastly "Laughing Fool" by Jacob Cornelisz. van Oostzanen. I would love to know which one you liked the most, and if you have anything to add that I didn't mention in the video, I'd be delighted to read your comments. ► Shop "The Nightmare" (1781) reproduction at - https://www.inspiraggio.com/products/... ► Shop "Dante and Virgil in Hell" (1850) reproduction at - https://www.inspiraggio.com/products/... ► Shop "Laughing Fool" (c. 1500) reproduction at - https://www.inspiraggio.com/products/... → Follow us on Instagram:   / inspiraggio   → Contact: [email protected] Chapters: 0:00 Introduction 1:00 "The Nightmare" by Henry Fuseli 5:42 "Dante and Virgil in Hell" by William-Adolphe Bouguereau 8:10 "Laughing Fool" by Jacob Cornelisz. van Oostzanen Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education, and research.
