Big Fish on a Big Bucktail Jig!

Sometimes wind and current conditions force us to fish heavy to stay near the bottom. That's what happened near the end of this trip when a heavy bucktail produced one of my best catches of the season so far. We carry 2- to 6-ounce bucktails on these trips, but mostly fish 3 and 4 ounces in the 60-100' ocean depths. ---------Gear and Stuff------ Online Fishing Course Discounts - https://www.saltstrong.com/skinner/ New John Skinner Jigging Rod: https://bit.ly/2QeiT6G Reel: https://bit.ly/2SDW7Rg Bucktail : https://bit.ly/2JUiXQ4 Gulp Grubs (6-inch): https://bit.ly/2MYfaDe Reel Power Handle: https://amzn.to/3pMJox8 Teaser Lure (Silicone Skirt Glow): https://amzn.to/2UXio37 Line (15#): https://amzn.to/3oEZp7X Leader(30#): https://bit.ly/2EcadoD Landing Net: https://amzn.to/3wzL7Zc David Dunleavy Performance Fishing Apparel - https://lddy.no/ykp8 Skinner Bucktail Book: https://amzn.to/33A2xbz Skinner Flounder Book: https://amzn.to/2TcZnIP The above are affiliate links.
