“Broken Down” - a Vietnam diorama in 1/35th scale.

The troops are from the 101st Airborne Division, and it’s the Summer of ‘69. They’re mostly veterans of the Battle of Hamburger Hill, together with a couple of nervous young FNGs, and this is the end of ‘Operation Apache Snow’ in the A Shau Valley. Their M113 ACAV has broken down, so they’re making the most of it and catching their breath for a moment.
