Tipperary farmer and new entrant awarded for excellent SCC

The award winning, new entrant farmer who has had an average somatic cell count of 66,000, says it is easily done with his 16 Unit Dairymaster Swiftflo Swing Parlour. Geoff Cunningham who is from Kilkenny installed automatic cluster removers, a diversion line, Swiftflo Commander, Autowasher and a Dairymaster milk tank. some of which are the features that have helped him to get to where he is today. Originally a beef farmer who made the change to dairy is delighted with his decision, the farm is running smoothly, he is really enjoying it and he has already built the parlour with the aim of expanding in the future.
