Marica Grófnő Belépője

During the master class in Győr, we didn't only work with the students on opera arias. Elvira is preparing to be an operetta singer, so we chose Marica’s entrance for our work together. Even if she claims to be more of a soubrette deep down in her soul, my young colleague's vocal endowments show rather a prima donna quality. As we will see in the next episode, she is not the first youthful and sweet person whose voice is suitable also for more serious tasks. So far, Elvira tackled the challenges of her chosen piece in an intuitive way, but following my instructions, spicing ut all with sparkling humour, she was able to move onto the next level in many ways.
