We Skipped the Cruise Ship Tour in Ensenada. Here's Why.

When our Royal Caribbean ship docked in Ensenada, Mexico, we had a choice: book the cruise ship's group tour, or find our own way. We went with a private guide through Viator — and it was the best decision we made all trip. Our guide Miguel took seven of us exactly where we wanted to go, at our own pace, with zero rushing. We walked the flea market leading up to La Bufadora, watched the blowhole erupt right in front of us, found the best local tacos in town, and ended at the bar that claims to have invented the margarita.
