Criminosos armados com fuzis invadem condomínio e trocam tiros com a polícia em Indaiatuba (SP)

An intense confrontation between criminals and the Municipal Civil Guard occurred in Indaiatuba, in the interior of São Paulo state. The incident began when a vehicle with cloned license plates was identified by the city's monitoring system. When approached by local authorities, the car's occupants reacted violently. The vehicle used by the criminals was armored and crashed into a gated community during the police chase. Security forces quickly surrounded the area. The suspects claimed there was a hostage in the car to try to buy time, but investigations showed this information was false. After negotiations that lasted about 20 minutes and included demands such as the presence of the press and a lawyer, the three men decided to surrender to the authorities. Inside the car, heavy weaponry was found: three rifles, a submachine gun, and two pistols. All capable of penetrating armor. The arrested individuals already had criminal records for robbery and receiving stolen goods. During the shootout, no authorities were injured, despite more than 100 shots being reported on social media by local witnesses.
