[LNNN] Touhou 13 - Ten Desires - Lunatic No Miss No Bomb No Trance - Marisa

TD is widely considered one of the easiest LNNNs, and I'd agree with that opinion. The hardest thing TD throws at you is Miko's penultimate and even that's not too bad compared to the hardest attacks of other games (e.g. UFO's Greatest Treasure, LoLK's PDH, HSiFS's Behind Festival). The one caveat of TD is that it's RNG heavy. A lot of attacks are RNG dependent, but since the game is relatively easy, even bad RNG is manageable in quite a few cases. I'd also say that while TD's late game (S4-6) is very easy compared to other games, the early game (S1-3) isn't the easiest. Yuyuko's penultimate, Kyouko's final and Yoshika's 3rd non can all get very sketchy with bad RNG. Yoshika's 3rd non is probably the closest I got to dying in this run, there were some sketchy dodges near the end of that. As a result, I struggled to get runs through the early game, but the ones that did get through tended to be low miss (3 or fewer). I'm using Marisa, even though the most-common choice is Reimu. IMO, Marisa is actually better than Reimu. Her missiles have a shotgun effect and deal noticeably more damage at pointblank range, which opens up quite a few speedkill strategies that Reimu has a harder time with (e.g. Tongling Yoshika, Miko's nons, Chaotic Dance). Her lasers seem like they'd be worse than Reimu's homing amulets, but homing really isn't needed in TD, and Marisa's lasers can be used for shotgunning on Futo's boat and Miko's first lifebar. That opens up a speedkill strategy for Iwafune, which is one of the harder attacks in the game and something that Reimu has problems with. Youmu is still the objective best character in TD, no one else compares to the damage and utility of her slashes, but it was a bit surprising that so many LNNNs use Reimu. Out of all TD LNNNs, ~63% use Reimu, ~22% use Youmu and the rest is a roughly even mix of Marisa and Sanae. I guess because character choice isn't crucial in this game. This took ~100 hours over the course of 2 months. I intend to do more LNNs, but first I'll need to find another game I like enough. Currently under consideration are SA, UFO, LoLK or WBaWC, though I don't guarantee I'll actually do any of those.
