Colt's Model 1917 Revolver Filling the Gap
I had to delete and re-upload this video because I had a couple of really bad edits in it. (Long story. I won’t bore you with it.) I apologize to everyone who already watched it and commented on it and liked it. At any rate, here it is again… In this video we’ll take a look at Colt’s Model 1917 double action revolver. This is a version of the Colt New Service revolver that was chambered to shoot .45 ACP ammunition. The Model 1917 was issued to troops during World War One to make up for the shortage of Colt Model 1911 semi-automatic pistols. This big revolver went on to be used by U.S. troops in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Mike Beliveau links: Patreon - / duelist Website - https://mikebeliveau.com/
