Maya Plisetskaya & Nicolas Economou: Dance Impressions (Improvisation VII)

This fascinating interaction between dance and music was recorded 1990 in studio with prima ballerina assoluta Maya Plisetskaya and pianist Nicolas Economou. Taking his cue from Plisetskaya’s movements and the moods she creates with her fanciful characterisation, Economou improvises at the piano.
