The series addresses various current topics in Argentine science with a significant socio-economic impact. Marine biology allows us to deepen our understanding of biodiversity and the relationships among the diverse organisms that inhabit the Argentine Sea, one of the largest and most biologically important seas on the planet. In recent years, thanks to the use of new technologies, CONICET researchers have made significant progress in the study of marine biodiversity, enabling the development of management plans to protect this natural resource.
