Only a week and already after my previous Oshi no Ko release and here we are with a new exciting project ! This time this I’ve been working on a collaboration with Genshin Impact in the context of the recent update on Fountain’s fate ! (not saying more … that’s yours to discover !) For this project, I was suggested to give an alternative take on La Vaguelette, recently released by Genshin Impact, rather exploring the bonds between two of the main characters ! This meant I was offered to freely compose my own melody over the original instrumental and writing my own lyrics. Séïa, who had helped me tons on Samudrartha’s lyrics, also helped me, by writing almost all the lyrics of this song, more than I can ever thank her for (and sorry for the small tweaks hehehehe ...). She also took proper time to explain me the whole lore around Fontaine and all the characters. Of course, I couldn’t leave this song without a 350 background vocals (that’s not true … but some people might understand what I’m refering to here) to give the song some more depth. The video was quite tricky to edit ngl … I tried visually express as much as possible, but also trying to not to show too much (didn’t wanna spoil you guys) so … I hope you’ll appreciate the effort !! (that took me 3 straight days + filming, while having hell of a deadly week at work orz) I hope you guys will appreciate my our take (yeh, ‘cause … I wasn’t the only one who wrote the lyrics) on this newly released song !
