Boris Plotnikov - Georgia On My Mind - JDR Trochilus Bb

Boris Plotnikov plays "Georgia On My Mind" on the JDR Trochilus in Bb. Some songs just seem to ask for the Trochilus. Could I play this on a diatonic harmonica? Absolutely. But following the chord changes faithfully requires a lot of overblows. That's why many diatonic players simplify the melody, leaving out some of the beautiful notes that highlight the harmony. Could I play it on a chromatic? Of course. But for a bluesy song like this, the chromatic still has a slightly more academic sound. For me, the Trochilus is the perfect fit.
